For :iconfreedom1001: because of reasons. :XD: Hoping you'll not laugh to hard for the obvious discrepancy, my friend.

Background stock Perseid Meteor Shower from one of the astronomy sites- I've had this one so long I can't remember the true origin. I'm thinking it may be 'Pic of the Day'.

I love ravens, and crows as well actually, and the golden eagles :la: My mom actually rescued a golden eagle once! Poor thing had gorged so much that it couldn't fly and she saws it on the side of the road. So she pulled over and grabbed a blanket and actually picked this massive bird up. Didn't make a fuss or anything. She held it on her lap as she drove the rest of the way to a wildlife shelter near our area. They kept him until he was able to fly once more and set him free  He was so beautiful

Oh, how wonderful!! What a fantastic memory to have, knowing she'd made such a difference...wow. Thank you for telling me about it!

My sister was licensed for wildlife rehab...and it was my privilege to be there for some of the work she did. Baby great horned owls are a special trip when the hiss and bob their heads at you! :XD: Another time we were drying out baby skunks that had been washed out of their nest by hard rains. Felt kinda like being a part of the bomb squad.
