I've been wanting to do this a loooong time, and now I finally get to write the review I've always wanted to. Best of all? Ain't nuthin' she can do about it. *blows raspberry* So there.
In every fandom, there are stories we consider benchmarks; the ones people read not once, not twice, but dozens of times. These are the stories we remember; crafted with love and care and inspiration and self-doubt and humor and a lot of sleepless nights.
These people are our bards, in the truest tradition. The music of their writing lingers, long after the final page is turned. Their world is a place we want to visit again and again.
They teach us about the true meaning of friendship, of family. The tears and the laughter and the pain and the joy. All of it. They give us ourselves, as we wish we were. As we want to be. They give us dreams. They give us happy endings, whenever possible.
They make us laugh and cry
but most important of all, they make us think.
