In every fandom, there are stories we consider benchmarks; the ones people read not once, not twice, but dozens of times. These are the stories we remember; crafted with love and care and inspiration and self-doubt and humor and a lot of sleepless nights.
These people are our bards, in the truest tradition. The music of their writing lingers, long after the final page is turned. Their world is a place we want to visit again and again.
They teach us about the true meaning of friendship, of family. The tears and the laughter and the pain and the joy. All of it. They give us ourselves, as we wish we were. As we want to be. They give us dreams. They give us happy endings, whenever possible.
They make us laugh and cry but most important of all, they make us think.
Now let me introduce you to someone remarkable, who if you haven't met her yet, meets the above criteria as 'Unforgettable". And then some.
She is "all that, and eight bags of chips and a bottle of Chivas."
Just sayin'. [link]

thanks to her i slowly am starting to investigate a Fandom i otherwise would not have looked at. (metalocalypse). ( and i am slowly starting to like what i see in that fandom too.)
That's exactly how it happened for me...I read her LotR 'verse first, then got curious about what else she'd done. I started reading her FF7 then and it opened up a whole new world. I've only skimmed the surface of her Metalocalypse, but like you, I like what I've seen so far!
